David's Kong is a clone of Donkey Kong written by an anonymous author and distributed as a compiled BASIC program.

The game consists of two parts, both of which take place on a playfield similar to the first level in Donkey Kong. The goal is to rescue the girl being held captive at the top of the screen and then escape. Players will first need to climb up the ladders to the top while dodging the barrels rolling along the plastforms which are thrown by the gorilla. The game is over if players are hit by a barrel or fall off of a ledge. Once the girl is reached, players then need to carry her back down to the bottom of the screen; a house appears in the bottom right and is the final destination. This section of the game is more challenging than the first part; the gorilla throws a barrel down the screen which creates additional gaps in the platforms that need to be jumped over. Additionally, the oil barrels are now lit on fire and not only roll but can move up and down ladders making them trickier to avoid. If players can avoid all of these obstacles and reach the house, the game is won!
